Comédie Française
The Comédie Française is a French cultural institution funded in 1680 and located since 1799 in the Salle Richelieu, at the heart of the Palais royal de Paris.
It’s the only state theatre with a remaining troop of actors, the Troupe des Comédiens-Français.
Comédie Française has a 3,000-play repertoire, including works by Jean Racine, Molière, Pierre Corneille or Victor Hugo.
